On December 18, 2019, President Donald John Trump was impeached for “high crimes and misdemeanors” by the full House of Representative.  The specific votes were 230 yeas to 197 nays on Article I, “abuse of power” and 229 yeas to 198 nays on Article II, “obstruction of Congress.”
