On February 6, 2020, the U.S. House of Representatives passed, by a margin of 224 yeas to 194 nays, H.R. 2474, the NAACP-supported “Protecting the Right to Organize Act”, otherwise known as the “PRO” Act.  This crucial legislation restores and strengthens the federal laws that protect workers’ right to join a union.  Companion legislation (S. 1306) has been introduced in the Senate.

We must now urge the United States Senate to take up and pass the PRO Act, and then we must urge the President to sign the bill into law.
